Bio:
Professor Lifa Zhang is Dean of the School of Physics at Nanjing Normal University. He earned his Bachelor's degree from Nanjing Normal University in 2001 and completed his Ph.D. at the National University of Singapore in January 2012. Following his doctoral studies, he pursued postdoctoral research at both the National University of Singapore and the University of Texas at Austin.
Professor Zhang's research primarily focuses on phononics and quantum thermal energy science. He has published over 90 papers in top-tier journals such as Science, Nature Physics, Nature Materials, Physical Review Letters, Nano Letters, Physical Review B, and Applied Physics Letters. Recognized for his academic contributions, Professor Zhang has received some honors, including Jiangsu Distinguished Professor, and Jiangsu Innovation and Entrepreneurship Leading Talent.
