Dr. Ji-Ping Huang is a Professor in the Department of Physics at Fudan University. He obtained a BSc and MSc from the Department of Physics at Soochow University, China, in 1998 and 2000, respectively. He earned his PhD from the Department of Physics at the Chinese University of Hong Kong, China, in 2003. His research area encompasses thermodynamics, statistical physics, and complex systems. Professor Huang has published over 300 papers in prestigious international journals, including Reviews of Modern Physics, Nature Reviews Physics, PNAS, Nature Computational Science, Nature Material, Nature Physics, Nature Communications, Physics Reports, Physical Review Letters, and Advanced Materials. He has authored four English monographs published by Springer (2015, 2020, 2023, 2024). Furthermore, Professor Huang has directed seven projects that were funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC), as well as two projects supported by the Ministry of Education, among others.
