Masahiro Nomura is a Professor at the Institute of Industrial Science, The University of Tokyo. His current research interests include hybrid quantum science, the physics and control techniques of phonon/heat transport in semiconductor nanostructures, and energy harvesting in thermoelectrics. He has published numerous academic papers and delivered presentations at various international conferences. He currently serves as the Chair of the Phonon Engineering Division of the Japan Society of Applied Physics and has received 17 awards including The 16th JSPS Prize (2019), the German Innovation Award Gottfried Wagener Prize (2019), The Young Scientist Award, The 44th International Symposium on Compound Semiconductors (ISCS2017), the Young Scientist Award in Science and Technology, the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science, and Technology (2012).
