Professor Gang Zhang is a Strategic Scientist at the Yangtze River Delta Institute of Beijing Institute of Technology (Jiaxing), as well as a Professor and PhD Supervisor at Beijing Institute of Technology. He received his Bachelor's and Ph.D. degrees from Tsinghua University in 1998 and 2002, respectively. Professor Zhang has worked at institutions such as Stanford University, Peking University, and the Singapore Agency for Science, Technology, and Research (A*STAR). His research focuses on thermal management theory, technology, and applications. Professor Zhang has been elected as a Fellow of the American Physical Society and the Institute of Physics (UK), and has been selected for China’s National Talent Program and Zhejiang Province's Top-Tier Talent Program. He has published over 360 papers, which have been cited more than 30,000 times, with an H-index of 87. He is recognized as a "Highly Cited Researcher" by Clarivate Analytics and is listed on Stanford University's global ranking of the top 2% of scientists based on "lifetime scientific impact." In addition to his academic work, Professor Zhang serves as an editorial board member and guest editor for several prestigious international journals.
