Dr. Suxin Qian serves as a professor in the Department of Refrigeration and Cryogenic Engineering at the School of Energy and Power Engineering, Xi'an Jiaotong University. He received his Bachelor’s degree from Tsinghua University in 2011 and earned his Ph.D. from the University of Maryland, College Park, in 2015.
Dr. Qian's research focuses on caloric cooling, including magnetocaloric and elastocaloric cooling, with an emphasis on thermodynamic analysis and device development. He serves as a Member of the IIR Working Group on Solid-State Cooling. Additionally, he serves as the Deputy Chair of the Future Refrigeration Technology Working Group under the Chinese Association of Refrigeration. Prof. Qian is also a Youth Editorial Board Member for Energy Storage and Saving, Journal of Refrigeration, and Vacuum and Cryogenics.
