Jianliang Shen received his Ph.D. degree from Sun Yat-Sen University in 2014 and completed his postdoctoral at Houston Methodist Hospital Research Institute in 2017. Then, he started independent research work as a full professor at Wenzhou Medical University. His current research is focused on the hybrid biomaterial development of therapeutics and technologies to advance cancer immunotherapy and tissue engineering. His team's passion and motivation for research comes from the hope that we can bring good news to patients through the cross-disciplinary means of materials, chemistry and pharmacy. He has over 200 peer-reviewed publications in Nature Biotechnology, Chemical Society Reviews, Advanced Materials, Angewandte Chemie International Edition, and others. In addition, 40 papers were selected as "ESI highly cited papers". His H-index records 61 (Google Scholar).
