Dr. Xiangyu Wang, PhD/Master's Supervisor, Distinguished Professor and Executive Director of Institute of Intelligent Construction and Maintenance of Civil Infrastructure, East China Jiaotong University, is a Clarivate Highly Cited Researcher (the first in the field of intelligent construction) and a Fellow of the European Union Academy of Sciences (EUAS). Since 2014, he and his team have been awarded 15 ARC projects and have delivered over 100 keynote speeches at influential international conferences, including world-class forums like the AI Expo and the World Conference on VR Industry.
He has published 500+ papers among which there are 320+ journal articles, and 38 papers recognized as ESI Top 1% Highly Cited Papers and 16 papers as ESI Top 0.1% Hot Papers. His work has been cited 13,727 times in the Web of Science Core Collection, with an H-index of 74 (Scopus). He was listed among the world's top 0.2% scientists and ranked first globally in research output and contributions in the field of intelligent construction (BIM and related areas). He has also received more than ten best paper awards from journals and international conferences. Prof. Wang's team has mentored over 50 postdoctoral fellows and graduated more than 30 PhD students. Additionally, he has trained hundreds of scholars, including professors, associate professors, assistant professors, senior lecturers, lecturers, research assistants, researchers, visiting scholars, and visiting students, many of whom are now teaching in various countries and regions across Australia, New Zealand, Asia, and Europe.
