Junbo Sun, who holds a Ph.D. in Structural Engineering from the University of Western Australia, is a distinguished scientist recognized on the Stanford Top 2% Scientists List. He currently serves as Vice President of the Asian Institute of Engineering Brain and as a Senior Researcher at the Australasian Research Centre for Building Information Modelling. His research focuses on intelligent construction methods, the sustainable use of solid waste in building materials, and the application of 3D printing technologies in construction. Dr. Sun has published over 60 SCI-indexed papers, with more than 20 appearing in prestigious journals such as Cement and Concrete Composites and Construction and Building Materials. He holds over 20 authorized invention patents and has contributed significantly to projects funded by the Australian Research Council and the National Natural Science Foundation of China. Additionally, he serves as a long-term reviewer for leading journals in his field. Dr. Sun has been honoured with the Outstanding Young Scientist award from the Western Australian Chinese Scientists Association. Besides, he is a Registered Engineer with Engineers Australia and serves as a member of the Academic Committee of the Solid Waste Branch of the Chinese Ceramic Society.
