Bio:
Shih-Ching Yeh received his M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in Computer Science at the University of Southern California (USC) in 2004 and 2008 respectively. He served as a computer scientist at the Institute for Creative Technologies at USC from 2008 to 2009. Afterwards, he was an assistant professor in the Dept. of Computer Science and Information Engineering at National Central University from 2009 to 2014. In 2014 fall, he joined Sun-Yat Sen University and served as an associate professor in the School of Mobile Information Engineering. From 2015 to 2019, he served as a research professor in the School of Information Science and Technology at Fudan University. Since 2019 spring, he has joined National Central University and served as a professor in the Dept. of Computer Science and Information Engineering. His research interests are to employ virtual reality and multi-model neuro sensing in interdisciplinary research areas of digital therapeutics, precision medicine and neuro-rehabilitation engineering, and to utilize artificial intelligence to develop evidence-based diagnosis or assessment methods in clinics. He has published more than 100 journal papers, book chapters and conference papers related to these fields.
