On August 28, 2025, at 10:00 PM (Beijing Time), Ageing and Cancer Research & Treatment (ACRT) convened its first monthly online Editorial Roundtable for Editors-in-Chief and Associate Editors.

The meeting was chaired by Editor-in-Chief Prof. Xingzhi Xu, with Editor-in-Chief Prof. Baohua Liu, Associate Editors Dr. Vincent Géli, Prof. Jun Huang, Prof. Zhiyong Mao, and Prof. Zhenkun Lou in attendance.

This event officially marked the launch of ACRT’s monthly Editorial Roundtable between the Editors-in-Chief and Associate Editors. The editors agreed to hold these meetings on a regular basis to closely monitor the journal’s progress, reflecting a shared commitment to shaping ACRT into a leading international academic platform.

The agenda included a brief review of the journal’s current status and in-depth discussions on key topics such as development goals, attracting high-quality manuscripts, establishing impactful Special Issues, and strengthening academic influence. Participants actively contributed insights and reached broad consensus on the journal’s near-term priorities and long-term strategies.
