Thermo-X, a New Journal Led by Professor Baowen Li, Officially Launched Online
Science Exploration Press officially announces the launch of Thermo-X, an international, peer-reviewed, open-access journal dedicated to advancing the field of thermal science. The journal will cover a wide spectrum of topics, including theoretical research on heat physics, quantum heat engines, and thermal conduction, as well as applied studies on thermal energy storage, heat exchangers, thermal management, and sustainable heat-driven technologies.
Thermo-X is led by the Editor-in-Chief Professor Baowen Li, a Fellow of the Academia Europe and the American Physical Society. Professor Li holds dual appointments as Chair Professor in the Physics and Departments of Materials Science and Engineering at Southern University of Science and Technology. Renowned for his groundbreaking work in phononics and thermal metamaterials, his research focuses on phonon manipulation, thermal transport at the micro- and nanoscale, quantum chaos, and complex networks. With over 400 publications, including articles in Reviews of Modern Physics and Physical Review Letters, Professor Li has accumulated over 34,500 citations and an H-index of 98 (Scopus). His accolades include the Singapore National Science Award, the Asia Achievement Award from the Overseas Chinese Physics Association, and the prestigious Brillouin Medal from the International Phononics Society.
