Thermo-X Holds Its Inaugural Editorial Board Meeting in Harbin

On July 13, 2026, the inaugural Editorial Board Meeting of Thermo-X was successfully held in Harbin, China, bringing together 30 Editorial Board members through both in-person and online participation to review the journal's progress and discuss its future development strategy.

Held on the occasion of PTES 2026 and WTT 2026, the meeting provided an opportunity for Editorial Board members attending the conferences to participate in person while enabling broader engagement through online access.

Prof. Baowen Li, Editor-in-Chief of Thermo-X from Southern University of Science and Technology, opened the meeting by expressing his sincere appreciation to the Editorial Board members for their continued support and contributions to the journal. He emphasized the importance of collective efforts in establishing Thermo-X as a leading international platform for thermal science research.

During the meeting, representatives from Science Exploration Press and the Thermo-X editorial office presented overviews of the publisher's development and the journal's progress since its launch, respectively, including developments in editorial operations, peer review, manuscript quality assurance, academic outreach, and collaborations with conferences and the broader research community.

The discussion session focused on several key topics related to the journal's future development, including attracting high-quality submissions, enhancing the peer-review process, increasing international visibility, and promoting innovation in scholarly communication.
