M.-CARMEN JUAN is a Full Professor of Computer Science with the Universitat Politècnica de
València (UPV), Spain, where she has taught since 1996. In 2000, she received her Ph.D. degree
from the UPV. She belongs to the Automatics and Industrial Informatics Research Institute (ai2) and
the Department of Computer Systems and Computation (DSIC). She has published more than 60
contributions in JCR-indexed journals, more than 30 publications in CORE-listed conferences, more
than 100 publications in other forums. She has been Principal Investigator in more than 20 projects
and participated in more than 70. She has supervised a total of 8 doctoral dissertations and more than
50 master's theses. Her main research interests include: Computer Graphics; Human-computer
interaction; User experience; Augmented reality, mixed reality, virtual reality, extended reality, and
their applications in psychology, medicine, archaeology, and education.
