The 4^th World Congress of Biopharm Industry Development 2025 was recently held in Fengxian District, Shanghai, China. At the conference, Professor Xiangdong Xue from Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Junior Executive Editor of BME Horizon(BMEH), presented the journal’s latest developments during an academic exchange session. In addition, the Special Issue “Nanomaterials for Advanced Molecular Imaging in Oncology”, which he organized in BMEH , was showcased to highlight the latest advances in nanomaterials for cancer imaging.

The 4^th World Congress of Biopharm Industry Development 2025 was held from September 24 to 26 in Fengxian District, Shanghai, China. Organized by the Fengxian District government, the conference brought together global experts under the theme “Bridging Global High-end Talents, Empowering Industrial Innovation”.The event featured keynote speeches, scientific forums, networking, and other activities, with participation from internationally renowned scholars, including Professor Balazs Sarkadi (Semmelweis University), Professor Shibo Jiang (Fudan University), and Matthias von Herrath (Novo Nordisk). Focusing on drug development, gene and cell therapies, and smart healthcare technologies, the congress fostered international collaboration and strengthened the biopharmaceutical sector’s academic and industrial influence.
