Prof. Meiwan Chen

Prof. Meiwan Chen’s research focuses on biomaterial and nanomedicine, especially on the development of novel drug delivery systems for active ingredients of Chinese medicine. Prof. Chen has published 125 papers in top-tier SCI journals as first or corresponding author, including Advanced Materials, ACS Nano, Nano Letters, and many more. Her publications have been cited >12,000 times, with an h-index of 64, with 5 being recognized internationally as “ESI Highly Cited Papers”. She was awarded the Excellent Young Scientist Fund by National Natural Science Foundation of China in 2019 and the “Qi Huang” Youth Scholarship in 2020. She was elected as a Fellow of the Royal Society of Chemistry (FRSC) in 2022.

Prof. Suleixin Yang, an associate researcher at Chengdu University of Traditional Chinese Medicine. He graduated from the University of Macau in 2024, supervised by Professor Meiwan Chen. In the past 5 years, he has published over 7 articles as first/co-first author in journals such as Advanced Materials, Nano Today, Journal of Controlled Release, etc. He has also hosted over 5 projects such as Ministry of Education Overseas Talent Recruitment Postdoctoral Program, China Postdoctoral Science Foundation Special Funding, China Postdoctoral Science Foundation General Funding, etc.
His research interests include:
1) Fluorinated polymer for CRISPR tool, mRNA vaccine, and NPs delivery;
2) Lysosome-mediated protein degradation system;
3) GPCR ligand screening instruments.

Prof. Yujie Liang

Prof. Yujie Liang obtained PhD in chemistry from The Chinese University of Hong Kong and was subsequently recruited as a high-level talent in Jining Medical University, where he currently holds the position of Specially Appointed Professor and serves as the Director of the Jining Key Laboratory of Joint and Sports Rehabilitation Engineering. His main research interests focus on engineering exosomes for targeted therapy.
Currently, he is exploring engineered out membrane vesicles for tissue repair and gene therapy. He has authored 140 SCI-indexed papers (including 8 ESI Top 1% Highly Cited/Hot Papers) and was listed among the World's Top 2% Scientists in 2023 and 2024.

Prof. Tianfu Zhang
School of Biomedical Engineering, Guangzhou Medical University, Guangzhou, Guangdong, China.
Prof. Tianfu Zhang currently serves as a Professor at the School of Biomedical Engineering, Guangzhou Medical University, and is a recipient of the "Nanshan Scholar" program. He obtained his Ph.D. from The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology under the supervision of Prof. Ben Zhong Tang. He previously served as a Research Associate Scientist at the Hong Kong Centre for Cerebro-Cardiovascular Health Engineering. His research focuses on developing nanomedicines based on aggregation-induced emission (AIE) theranostic agents for deep in vivo imaging and tumor treatment. He has published over 30 papers as first author or corresponding author in journals such as Advanced Materials, Journal of the American Chemical Society, Angewandte Chemie, Advanced Functional Materials, Materials Today, and ACS Nano. Related achievements have led to 8 Chinese and international patent applications. He serves as a Young Advisor for Exploration and has received the Outstanding Young Editorial Board Member Award from Exploration and the Best Contribution Award from Aggregate. He was also honored with the Outstanding Scholar Award in the field of Cerebro-cardiovascular Health Engineering in 2021 and 2022.
