We are pleased to announce that the Journal of Building Design and Environment (JBDE) has officially established a strategic partnership with the World Society of Sustainable Energy Technologies (WSSET).

On March 17, 2025, the Journal of Building Design and Environment (JBDE) successfully held its inaugural Frontier Forum, attracting over 16,000 viewers. The event was hosted by Prof. Limao Zhang, JBDE Editor-in-Chief, and featured a keynote speech by Prof. Jian Kang, Honorary Editor-in-Chief of the journal and a leading expert in building and environmental acoustics from University College London, UK.

We are pleased to announce that the Journal of Building Design and Environment (JBDE) was successfully presented on December 15, 2024, at the 10th International Conference on Advances in Energy Resources and Environment Engineering (ICAESEE 2024).

The Journal of Building Design and Environment (JBDE) is currently seeking qualified and dedicated professionals to join our Reviewer Board. As a reviewer, you will be instrumental in upholding the quality and rigor of our journal by providing expert evaluations of submitted manuscripts.

On May 17, 2024, the inaugural Editorial Board meeting of the Journal of Building Design and Environment (JBDE) was successfully held. The meeting was chaired by Prof. Limao Zhang, the Editor-in-Chief of JBDE, and attended by 23 Editorial Board members. The primary focus of the meeting was to review the journal's past achievements and outline future development plans.

We are pleased to announce that the Journal of Building Design and Environment (JBDE) has been officially indexed in the China National Knowledge Infrastructure (CNKI) in April 23, 2024. This significant milestone highlights the growing impact and recognition of our journal within the academic community.
