EXO – Beyond the Cell Welcomes Columbia University Libraries as an Institutional Participant
We are delighted to announce that EXO - Beyond the Cell (EXO) has entered into an Institutional Open Access Agreement with Columbia University Libraries, welcoming the Libraries as an institutional participant, effective July 9, 2026.

Under this agreement, articles published in EXO will be integrated into Columbia University Libraries’ academic resource system and made accessible through its catalog and discovery services. This will extend the journal’s reach to a broader community of researchers and enhance its long-term scholarly impact.
The participation of Columbia University Libraries reflects a shared commitment to open-access publishing and the dissemination of scientific knowledge. Through this agreement, EXO strengthens its connection with the global research community and takes an important step toward building an open scholarly ecosystem.
